All Library books were due yesterday!!

 

There will be a Jr High Baseball meetingon Fridayfor all 6th and 7th Grade boys interested in playing Fall baseball next year during 8th hour in the New Gym. If you have any questions, contact Mr. DeWerff

 

Mrs. Gonzalez's 6th Hour Reading Class should meet in Mrs. Hoehn's room for the remainder of the week. 

 

Lincolnwood would like to invite Nokomis junior high and elementary students to participate in and LHS soccer camp. For more information please pick up in the JH office.

 

The last day to take AR tests for 8th grade istoday. The last day to take AR tests for 6th and 7th grades isWednesday, May 24.

Our school was recently awarded a Healthy Communities Investment Grant worth over $28,000.  We have several activities and field trips planned for the month of June for Nokomis students.  Check out the different opportunities on the website.  Registration forms can be picked up in the office.  All registration forms must be turned in the the office byMay 26th.  

 

There are forms in the JH office for current 6th & 7th grade girls who want to attend volleyball camp this summer.  

 

The annual Nokomis Memorial Park 3 on 3 basketball tournament will be held July 8th. If you are interested please pick up in the JH office.

 

The Nokomis Library is having a Summer Reading Program. If you would like more information please pick up in the JH office. They are also selling t-shirts, there is order forms available in the JH office.

 

Please do not store stuff on the balcony from now until the end of the year.

 

Any girl Ages 9-12 who is interested in running for 2017 Junior Miss Nokomis Homecoming queen may pick up some information in the JH office.

 

There was permission slips passed out for the bowling trip at the end of the year for all grades and also the 8th grade class field trip to the zoo. If you did not receive one please come pick one up in the JH office. Please note that everyone received one. These trips also determined by behavior and grades. So do not assume because you got a permission slip does not necessarily mean you will be able to go. Get these in ASAP if you have not already done so.

 

Junior High students please respond to the email that Mrs. McDonald has sent you if you have not already done so.
