DISTRICT MISSION, VISION, BELIEF STATEMENTS, CHARACTER TRAITS AND GOALS
1. The Nokomis CUSD #22 Strategic Plan was reviewed and discussed.
2. The Board Discussed goals for the 2017-2019 period.
To explore high level academic, rigorous classes for students to engage in the learning process.
a. Plan, create and implement additional Dual Credit Courses.
b. Plan, create and implement online coursework for AP and Advanced Classes.
c. Plan, create and implement additional vocational programs.
d. Maintain a core academic curriculum for all students
e. Encourage teachers to obtain a Master's Degree in core subject areas.
To have well-maintained buildings/facilities that fosters a productive learning environment. a. Secure funds for electronic signage.
b. Continue to make buildings and grounds improvements.
c. Seek guidance on creating a Guest WiFi.

The Nokomis School District, along with the community, through meaningful personal connections, will provide a safe, supportive environment that inspires students to reach their academic and personal potential and to become responsible citizens.
