Sports Report:

First of our three games in a row, and it started with us Hosting Taylorville. The 7th graders would be down 11-0 at the end of the first quarter. But they would continue to battle and chip away as they would pull within 2pts in the 3rd quarter.  Taylorville would hit some big shots as they would out score us by 5 in the 4th quarter to beat us 24 to 32.

8th grade would play with the same intensity as the 7th graders did and would be down by 10 at half but to start the 3rd quarter we would cut it to 5pts and trade baskets as Taylorville would finish the erd quarter with a 7pt lead. We would get some good shots up that wouldn't fall in the fourth as Taylorville would hold on to win 35 to 26.

Both squads have continued to show improvements and are playing very well as a team. Looking forward seeing us keep the same intensity as tonight to every game. Next up @ Gillespie tomorrow followed by a short road trip to Ramsey on Thursday

Girls travel to Gillespie tonight. Games begin at 6pm

Bus leaves@ 4:40pm
