Congratulations to the March CKH Students of the Month at North Elementary. These students were nominated for demonstrating courage! We see courage throughout our day by students: participating in the classroom, trying new things, voicing their opinions, completing/or trying difficult and challenging things, learning from mistakes, and doing the right thing, even when it is difficult or unpopular. Great job to these students! #NOKOPROUD

Mrs. Gonet's Lending Library
North School has started a new lending library to honor Mrs. Gonet who worked at North School for 15 years. She loved books and loved reading to her students. Books were donated from Mrs. Gonet's book collection. The lending library is a great opportunity to continue spreading this love. Students can select a book from the library when they wish, read it, and then return it to the lending library shelf. All books have a G decal on the front and are labeled inside the cover. Also, students can donate a book to the lending library-They need to write their name in the front cover and then drop the book off at Mrs. Cruthis' or Mrs. West's classroom. We hope students can enjoy these books and spread the love of reading as Mrs. Gonet did while teaching at North School. #NOKOPROUD

Congratulations to the JH/HS CKH March/Courage Winners! Each month teachers/students nominate students and faculty that best demonstrate the CKH theme of the month. During the month of March, classes focused on Courage during their CKH Character Education lessons. Courage is the ability and strength to face something that may be difficult or challenging. Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather perseverance in the presence of fear. It is the willingness to stand up for what is right, or the willingness to try something new, even though it may be uncomfortable or uncertain. Congrats to Mrs. Doyen, Mrs. Alsbury, Kinlee, Kendree, Jenna, Maddox, Autumn, Summer, Dayne, Aaron, Carter, Deiken, Owen, Madalyn, Temperance, Mr. Moreland, Hannah, and Addelyn!
