IHSA 1A Girls' Basketball Regional UPDATE: White Hall (North Greene) will host the Regional Championship game on Friday, February 21st at 7pm. It'll be Nokomis vs Hardin (Calhoun) for the title and a chance to proceed to the next round at Raymond-Lincolnwood. Lindsey DeFevers was hired as the new JR/SR High School Principal at the School Board meeting last night. Formerly, Lindsey taught English at North Mac School District for 11 years. 6th and 7th grade Character Education classes made Valentines Day Cards for the residents of the Prairie Rose Rehabilitation Center in Pana. They also provided Hershey Kisses. The residents were so thankful. #sharethelove #NOKOPROUD
Nokomis National Honor Society along with the NHS Cheerleaders were able to present a check to the Montgomery County Cancer Association for just over $2100. We are proud to donate the proceeds from the Fight Against Cancer Activities to this organization that does so much for those in our community. #NOKOPROUD

The kindness challenge Mrs. Heldebrandt's 3rd Grade Class pulled today was "Do Something to Brighten Someone's Day!" So be on the look out when you drop in Ugly Mug's in Nokomis this month!
